- 27 Jan.2010 Hosei University and Kwansei Gakuin University joined as regular member.
- 28 Nov. 2009 We had 2009 Biannual meeting at Shinkawa office of Uchida Yoko, Tokyo.
- 5 Nov. 2009 The 1st Asia Regional OCW Conference was held in Seoul, Korea.
- 8 Aug. 2009 The Open University of Japan(privious NIME) and e-Learning Consortium Japan were re-registered as a regular member and an affiliate member.
- 21 Apr. 2009 OCW Consortium meeting was held in Montery, Mexico.
- 27 May 2009 We had 2009 Biannual meeting in Mita, Tokyo. And Eizo System Co. Ltd. and Softbank BB Corp. joined as affiliate members.
- 25 Mar. 2009 Chiba University joined as a regular member.
- 5 Nov. 2008 We had the 2008 Biannual meeting in Mita, Tokyo.
- 30 July 2008 Tokushima University u-learning center joined as an associate member.
- 20 June 2008 International Christian University joined as a regular member.
- 28 May 2008 We had 2008 Biannual meeting at Knowledge Square, Kasumigaseki in Tokyo. And Uchida Yoko Co., LTD. joined as an affiliate member.
- 26 Mar. 2008 United Nations University, MediaSite K.K., CDNetworks Japan Co.,Ltd., Media Links & CO.,LTD. and Digital Knowledge Co., Ltd. joined as a regular member and an affiliate members respectively.
- 23 Jan. 2008 The Asahi Shinbun Company, NTT Resonant Inc., Tokyo Denki University Press joined as affiliate members
- 6 Nov. 2007 We had the 2007 Biannual meeting in Mita, Tokyo. And Meiji University joined.
- 31 Aug. 2007 Kagawa Nutrition University and Createve Commons Japan joined as a regular member and an affiliate member respectively.
- 29 June 2007 JOCW Biannual meeting was held in Mita, Tokyo.
- 2 May 2007 OCW Consortium meeting was held in Santander, Spain.
- 31 Oct. 2006 We had the First Annual meeting in Mita, Tokyo
- 31 Oct. 2006 Three universities, Kyoto Seika Universirty, Ritsumeikan University and Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University joined in JOCW, and AVCC and CCC-TIES joind as affiliate members.
